When trying to run Chao2 on a Ryzen 5900X I get crashes on startup. winter_build_log reads: Code: LLVM encountered a fatal error: Cannot select: intrinsic %llvm.x86.sse41.dppd You can find the dumps here According to Phoronix: Quote: Also, auto-detection for Zen 3 isn't yet wired up. If you are selecting -march=native equivalent when calling LLVM libraries to compile winter a workaround would be (somehow) detecting Zen3 and manually passing in znver2. |

Hi, Yeah that should be fixed now, what version of Chaotica are you running? |

I am also getting this same error using a new system build with a Ryzen 5950x, a RTX 3090 GPU with both the studio drivers and the gaming drivers, and using a clean install of Windows 10. This was one of the first programs that I installed after the drivers. I have tried 2.0.35 and many older versions. Chaotica 1.5 does work. I have already submitted the error log. I am looking forward to running Chaotica 2 on this machine. |

Windows 2.0.35, both the msi installer and the portable package don't work. I've tried re-downloading just now to confirm. |

Downloaded the new build, now it works nicely. Out of curiosity, what was the issue? |

LLVM doesn't know the type of CPU and falls back to thinking it's something that doesn't support a certain instruction (DPPS). |
