Post subject: | Repositioning the fractal |
Hi, Normally, in my fractal window, if I hold down Option(Mac) or Alt and left mouse button, I can move a fractal around, and change the composition. But, on the fractal that I am working on now, that doesn't function. I can zoom in or out, but I can't move the center of the fractal, for example, to the right. My question is, would there be a center 'lock' somewhere that I can release? I am wondering why I can move all fractals around, except the one I am working on. Thanks for any suggestions. Brenda |

There is no lock. It looks like it is related to your parameters, rather than a software issue. Wonder if you could link the parameters (stash them in your dropbox for example, and post the link here) or message me so i can check what is going on. |

Welcome, wrote you but will also post here so other people know in case needed ![]() For large values of sensor width (check camera transform for this parameter), the fractal WILL move when you move it using alt+leftmousebutton, but by such small amounts that you may not notice it, even. What to do? Two options imho: 1. You can input numbers into cam transform settings. 2. Toggle camera transform, turn on post affine and then move it around. While it is not really a bug, it is a rather annoying thing hehe ![]() |
