Hi all, If some Mac users could test out the video saving, that would be cool. (See the "Added encoding of batch animation renderings into video for Mac" in the changelog below.) I don't do animations often, so maybe I did the wrong. However my file worked okay before (a few years ...) But this time gives error. (see screenshot attached)

To be honest the animation saving so difficult, no one on Mac will use it. It needs to be in the File > Save Animation. I don't even use the File > Save Image, as the quality is not good. ScreenShot is better. But rest of program is great! Keep going!! |

You will need to render out all the frames in the animation. |

Hi Nick, I'll test video saving on new laptop once I get licence reset for version 2 but on windows it sometimes works... generates a video file and sometimes it fails... seems random depending on length as 5 seconds work.... then 10 seconds it doesn't? |

Cheers! First of all, you should know Chaotica is my favorite fractal software hands down! Thanks in advance for any help. I recently installed v2.0.22, I am using the paid Chaotica HD program. I also paid and downloaded the MicroSoft HEVC encoder but I get errors just before it tries to save the video, H.264 works fine. My main question is; although I checkmark [x] Wrap Animation under animations, my first frame and last frame never match, and if I loop the video it the last frame and first don't match. I've tried it with existing animations and have tried brand new worlds with new animation, same result. Any ideas? On Win 64, with a powerful 8 core gaming PC. |

Let me wait till either tommorrow or Wednesday when new computer is delivered and test, current PC is archaic and although using windows 10 could very well be a fault on my side... if I run into errors again I'll take screenshot and attach it. |

Is there a way to purchase chaotica 2 if I do not have 1.x? I have read about license updates in other posts here but no purchase of just version 2. Also when trying the beta gpu rendering does not seem to work for me. I have a gtx 1060 but it is not utalized when rendering. edit: i just noticed something when checking task manager, the gpu does not seem to be hit with much load. but rendering works while the cpu utilisation dropped drastikly. so it seems gpu rendering is working. sorry to bother you with that part |

Ok got new computer and testing Chaotica: 1) The videos save now at end of batch process and haven't had an error yet  2) Geforce RTX works perfectly fine in OpenCL but.... the Intel 630 when checked says "OpenCL failed to initialize" ? I thought this internal GPU would be able to work and help as well? 3) Could I beg to add (apart from 16bit png) that the batch render checkmark box be disabled automatically after animation render has finished? 4) I'm really gonna beg for this  but can there be an option button to reset the animation completely or at least tell me if I can edit the chaos file and remove animation settings? I sometimes have the perfect fractal and go mess with animations and mess up and which I could completely start over. Everthing else is fine, choatica is awesome  glad I purchased it.
